Maternal Fetal Medicine

Division of MFM of Queen Mary Hospital, The University of Hong Kong provides subspecialty level care for mothers with high risk pregnancy. It composes of two clinical teams and the fetal assessment service:

1. High Risk Obstetrics Team that deals mainly with pregnancies with maternal medical complications and significant obstetric risk factors. The clinics are located in Queen Mary Hospital;
2. Prenatal Diagnosis & Counseling Team that deals with prenatal diagnosis and fetal complications and the clinics and laboratories are located in Tsan Yuk Hospital;
3. Fetal Assessment Service Team that provides same day fetal assessment service for in-patients, out-patients and non-booked referrals.

We are the first accredited training centre of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists – Maternal Fetal Medicine Subspecialty Training Programme in Hong Kong. We are actively involved in both teaching and research in the field of MFM.

• MFM / OBS Journal Club
